They’ve bloomed! We recently visited the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC to get our annual view of cherry blossoms in all their glory. The National Cherry Blossom Festival offers the perfect excuse to explore the Capitol and get familiar with folk like Eliza Scidmore, the secret—and persistent—force behind the beautiful gift of 3,020 cherry trees. As ever, they’re harbingers of all the changes ahead, and we’re happy to see it’s spring!
